A recent article about human hostory tells us that every thing was almost right even without rules and rulers and only agriculture brought up of all problmes. Hunter-gathers hunted when they needed, but agriculture brought the curse of "stoage of wheat / grains" thus all todya's problems started about 12,000 years ago.

So, follow your own inner voice. I don't regret about all these rituals and avoid them. But I do care about others, animals, nature ect. I don't need the approval of others as "they are not paying my bills nor I pay theirs". But I follow civic laws to avoid paing bribe.
