One of those rare modern day leaders who is proud, open talking , fearless and business minded . Is he restoring the Soviet style world order of submission or agression? The invasion of Ukraine looks like its too much aggression, but it presents a question ? Putin wanted to safeguard the Russian speaking population of Crimea and safeguard Russian "interests" in teh Black Sea ( even though the Crimeans were Ukrainians). How similar is that to India-LTTE problem where India could have also annexed LTTE ruled Sri Lanka and made it part of main land India? Was it mere cowardice or lack of interests on the Indian Tamils and SL Tamils?

NOTE : I have no opinion about LTTE. I dont support or oppose them.

India helped to liberate Bangladesh.
The world did not do a thing, even though Pakistan was military alliance with USA.
Similarly the world will shut up. Ukraine is bankrupt, has no natural resources, and is not much of use for west, except to taunt Russia.
