If you are located in the United States and are able I urge to PLEASE go vote today. This entire Nation (save for a disenfranchised few) consists of immigrant populations. The longer the Nation exists the more diverse it gets but once you are here you are part of us. Americans come in every shape size and color so please take a moment to be a steward of your home and make your voice heard.

Gods bless you all whichever party, person, or platform you choose. Vote your heart and the Nation will have a chance to champion your hearts cause.

I've been praying all day that Obama wins. I'm actually dreading waking up tomorrow...GMT...

PS: Completely irrelevant but am I the only one that thinks Romney has a very strong resemblence to actor James Caan??

I also want Obama to win.
I just hope he wins.

I really want him to win.

He has to win!

Known DEVIL is better than unknown ANGEL....!!

Yep it's all set! After the election debacle in 2000 election days are pretty frightening to me so it feels so good to see it all said and done.

"The election was noteworthy for a controversy over the awarding of Florida's 25 electoral votes, the subsequent recount process in that state, and the unusual event of the winning candidate having received fewer popular votes than the runner-up.[SUP][2][/SUP] This marked only the fourth election in U.S. History in which the eventual winner failed to win a plurality of the popular vote (after the elections of 1824, 1876, and 1888)."

From United States presidential election, 2000 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Are the results out?

OMG I am so happy!

Obama I love You!

Amalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,

Obama won!

For Mitt Romney, he felt that it would be a good idea to use a mobile phone app to promote his run for Presidency.

With an app known as “With Mitt” for the iPhone, people could upload photos of themselves, and attach one of Mitt's

slogans to the picture to express support for him.
So imagine people's surprise when they discovered that this was

one of the slogans:

Obama has a strong support among the NRI's.....But in India especially in IT & ITES there is a strong feeling that there will be fewer outsourcing with Obama being back at the helm...This is mainly in Banking & Financial services, Insurance, Health care where there is a strong regulatory presence...Visa approvals are going to take time...Also work may actually goto captives rather than 3rd parties based out of India...Hope better sense prevails & our Indian IT/ITES does not get adversely impacted

I'm just listening to CNN's Obama's victory speech and its showing that 52% of men voted for Romney while only 45% voted for Obama. As for women 55% voted for Obama. One wonders why...well, at least I do! If it was mens votes alone, it would have been Romney...yikes!

Anyway I'm happy because this gives hope for ethnic minorities world over, especially what i called "villified minorities" as opposed to "model minorities". Having said that in the UK even model minorities becoming PM is not something thats going to happen anytime soon.

I like Obama not becos he is an Ethnic Minority but becos he seems like a very down to earth person.
He appears loving, caring and sincere( I guess that's why he got all the womens votes).
He dresses cool sorts and not too formal(I like such fashion sense cos that makes one appear approachable..he is also cute and has a nice smile and he is intelligent too!)

His wife too plays the role of a First Lady well.
I love her fashion sense and her toned arms(good muscle tone).
I love all her gowns..she is really tall too.

Vote !

Congratulations to the winning candidate Barack Obama.
Democracy works wonders in America.

I am not familiar with the issues on which the candidates fought Presidential election in USA. But the amount of propaganda and the money collected and spent on these elections was simply unbelievable. It runs in millions of Dollars ! Election commission of India should learn from US, how to declare the results at the end of the elections. In our Country elections run for months stalling the work of Government. It is time our Parliament should think of effecting major reforms in Election process, so as to have a fixed term for legislatures and Parliament, and the elections should take place on a single day. This will save crores of rupees of tax payers' money.
