Hi Yogi,

1. Go to the temple of Shivji first. It can be the Mylapore Kapaliswar temple or the Tiruvanmiyur Marundiswar temple or any other temple of your choice. There are quite a few temples for Shivji in Chennai city.

2. Enquire with the temple Managers about the kind of clothes they accept for samarpanam to the deities. Some of the temples do not accept silk and synthetic dhoties or sarees. They accept only cotton clothes.

3. Buy the items, go to the temple and offer them to the administrator there. He will give you a receipt and inform you the date on which Shivji and the Devi will be adorned with the clothes given by you.

4. On the appointed day go to the temple with the receipt and after having darshan of Shivji and Devi in the clothes submitted by you, pray and you may offer an archana and come back home.

Best wishes.
