Why i'm saying western thinking complicated?

First without thinking about future repercussion, they carry out activities. They never go to any root cause of the problem. they always think for instant solution and quick remedy (Just like our modern day medicine pain killers).

Second they destroy everything and recreate as though they have invented everything.

Third they make us slaves to comforts and luxuries

Fourth they increase the avaricious tendency of the people and make them more and more selfish only looking for their comforts and luxuries.

They follow only external discipline not internal discipline even while up bringing a child in a house, school or any environment outside

More Hypocratic views , false joys which are not eternal

They never care for permanent enjoyment or joy but temporary pleasures..

They believe in false ideals of gross materialism which is carried on to the extent of making global recession, global unemployment and global threats..every of their single problem is converted into global problems.

They enjoy people living in a stressed condition which only the elite , intelligent or wealthy enjoying a leisurely life..

They make others to toil for their own welfare and comforts

They praise individualism, independent thinking detrimental to society's interests

Their inventions at the first outset seem to give all comforts but will become slaves to our senses and bodily comforts

what you say is mostly right

how do we come to terms with it?

world has changed . we have cope with it maximising our happiness by making the right choices so that we have the right combination of materialism which is a requirement and spiritualism provided for in our traditional brahmin life style we are accustomed to since childhood .

If we confront and despise everything classifying many things as western and not emulating or adopting it for our own good and happiness , we are perhaps making a mistake. we need not lose totally our traditional ways of living either . let us make the right mix and be happy

Yes..compromise is the way of adaption now...In eastern way of living ..there is a saying "PORUMAIYADU ELLA VATRIYUM SAHITHU KOL" that is accepting everything patiently without murmuring...May be i have to change of my attitude towards that category...

Even for sake of argument let's say all the complaints about West are true, why should people in East bother about it? If Eastern way of living is so great, India can just live in isolation and cut of all contact with the outside world. Unfortunately that's also a perfect way of falling behind and staying backward. Life of indians has irreparably changed due to opening out the economy to the west in name of

globalisation . It has done more damage than good .
MNCs and other foreign companies have come in bringing a materialistic culture with no respect

for family values damaging indian families irreparably .

work hours with late evening times to service the west with long work hours has damaged lives

of a younger generation badly .
parents are getting to retirement homes instead of living with children

places like punjab , drugs are affecting both urban and rural youth

the senseless consumerist and credit card life is leading to urban distress and debt

indians are getting the worser part of western way of life . no govt social security as in the west

. ,jobs of hire and fire , extended working hours with no compensation , indians are becoming

economic slaves of the west .

is it all worth it?
