ME

You have Star Karma. Your good karma has rewarded you with true star status. You're here to be noticed, admired, pampered, served and loved. You're here to take charge and impress us all! Your karma is all about success. It's no surprise that you often find yourself at the center of attention and the more you succeed, the more your karma will manifest. You have an infectious personality and a smile that lights up the room. You're popular, respected and of course, envied by most!

Try yours

Guru Karma

You have Guru Karma! Guru is a Sanskrit term for "teacher" or "master". After many lifetimes of learning, your highly evolved soul has come back one more time to convey life's deepest lessons to those around you. You are here to be a light unto the world through your remarkable potential to inspire great change and healing. You're wise far beyond your years and truly grounded. Have you found the Guru within? Tell us in the comments!

I got the 'Giver Karma'. Honestly I doubt the results because in 2 instances, I just randomly picked the answers - such as the question, "If your life were to be shot as a movie, who would direct it?". I picked M. Night Shyamalan (LOL), the only others whose movie I've watched are Steven spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, and not the other directors. Similarly I did not know about greek gods, so I had to pick up Jesus. (But it is true that I can be a true giver).

The Giver Karma

You have the Giver Karma! You're a beautiful soul and you're here to make up for past mistakes. No room for ego this time around! You're here to give to others and help whenever you can. Look deep and bring out your inner humanitarian, because that's your key to Nirvana. You've missed missed some opportunities in past, but here's your chance to change it all with love and kindness. What are you doing to help others? Let us know in the comments!

Dear Renuka,

If I can 'choose' a karma for you, I would choose one that of a 'researcher/scientist'. Having observed your posts the short time I've been here so far, you are most certainly interested in analysing the psychology and behavioral aspects of various situations faced from a thorough scientific perspective. So if I can be given the freedom to choose a 'karma label' for you, I would call you a 'researcher'! :)

SriSri: Your height is your karma; your weight is your free will! (From twitter land)

WONDERFUL! If I have the freedom to expand on it - "What we have incurred as our blessings in the form of our accomplishments is our karma (destiny), but what we can handle is purely our free will".

Dear JR,

I feel a true Guru needs to analyse human behavior and psychology..only then he/she can cater to the need of the shishya.

Without analysis there is no way to teach anyone..that too the analysis should not be static and label someone right away.

The analysis should be a continuous multidirection process..and also give enough space to the shishya to rise and also fall in his/her journey and also let the shisya choose and try something new to increase endurance.

I do not believe in any form of suppression..so the basis for any problem needs to be explored and then witnessed and done with it.

Its like letting a bird fly into your home..you observe it and let it fly away.

So problems come and go.

Anyway RR ji has always been encouraging for me to start an Ashram.

You and RR ji will be given free life long membership!LOL

Dear Renuka,

Ofcourse all you said above are true. But, to be a guru, the first step is to be a researcher - to be able to observe, to estimate, to approximate, and to navigate the soul in appropriate direction so that it reaches higher and higher above than what it has been at the outset.

So being a guru is much, much more responsibility than being a researcher/scientist. While I am positive you will make a fantastic guru with your inquisitiveness, depth of expression, intellectual curiosity and all assets combined, I was not really sure if you are 'ready' for such a post :). No offence meant, I think I just have to give myself some more time to observe you and everyone else.

Best wishes,

JR

Dear JR,

You are the best shishya I would love to have in my Ashram.

A shishya should always have an element of doubt about his/her Guru...then a curiosity arises in him/her.

He/she feels a "pull" and "inner calling" towards the Guru.

It is always doubt that is the precursor for the "inner calling".

If you remember even in Geeta..Arjuna had started off doubting Krishna.

When Krishna said that He has given the same teachings of Geeta to the Sun God(Vivasvan) in another time..Arjuna doubted Krishna and asked Him "but how was it possible that You gave it to the Sun God when the You are only existing now"
sri bhagavan uvaca
iman vivasvate yogam proktavam aham avyayam
vivasvan manave praha manur iksvakave'bravit
The Supreme Lord Krishna said: I instructed this supreme imperishable science unto the sun-god Vivasvan and he instructed it unto Vaivasvata Manu the father of mankind who instructed it to his son King Iksvaku, ruler of all the Earth.

Then Krishna proceeds to explain to Arjuna how it was possible.

It took sometime for Arjuna to surrender to Krishna.

Doubt is the pre requisite for surrender.

Yes you are right...you need more time..So take your time JR.....I totally understand..I am always there if you need me!LOL
