This is phenomenal, This is unprecedented. Baahubali - The Beginning, which has made news from the past two months ,and was released yesterday, has been doing some exceptional business.
The movie was released in four different languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam with over 4,300 screens. With this large screen count one might expect a good box office number, but what Baahubali did was jaw dropping.
It has not only beaten South stars such as Rajni, Vijay, Ajith, Mahesh, and Pawan but Baahubali has beaten top stars in India in the likes of SRK, Salman and Aamir. According to top trade analysts from Bollywood, the film has collected over Rs 50 crore gross and has emerged as India's biggest opening ever.
Baahubali was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, but was dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. The film has collected more than Rs 5 crore for Hindi version itself, which is a huge record for a South Indian movie beating previous record Rs 1.8 crores four times over.
The movie has done unbelievable business in abroad as well. Baahubali - The Beginning has already surpassed $ 2 million at the US Box Office and has beaten Aamir Khan's PK by a large margin. It will also surpass the weekend collections of PK by today.
