Most Indians drive on the left of the road ...
Bangaloreans, drive on what is left of the road!
This shows our discipline on roads.

Bangalore is not designed to take up that explosion of population. The roads are breaking at the seams. I was there last month. Those roads were a sorry sight.

Raghy Sir

Greetings

Not only these conditions prevail in Bangalore, you can see similar condition in Chennai too.

The Roads were not properly planned and haphazard development of Buildings, Shops occupying portion of the roads, all made these conditions.

cheers!!

paddu Sir

I have lived on all the continents and driven vehicles LHD & RHD - "Keep Left" and "Keep Right"
and am still pretty much at ease either way.

When I returned to India, I had to deprogram myself and learn driving in India all over again:

There apparently, is only one rule in the book:

" Either I bully someone or I get bullied by someone on the road "

Only after I understood this could I make any progress in the traffic - whether I drive on
the Right Side or the Wrong Side, the idea is to move !

Disciplined, orderly driving is sort of drab and boring - takes out the 'thrill' of constantly testing one's own
driving skills [ and survival instincts ].

Raghy Ji, not just Bangalore - every city is a mess.

Yay Yem

The idea is to reach the destination FAST!!

'............The road was buzzing with a typical Chennai traffic. The real experience of a Rush hour.

Horns honking aloud and everybody wants to reach their destination fast. ..............'
