Elevation of Nirmala Seetharaman to Cabinet rank was no surprise and was approval of her contribution as a minister of State so far and agressive stand she took on many fronts as BJPs official spokes person. What is surprising is allocation of Defence portfolio to her. This shows the level of confidence Modi has on her abilities to handle tricky issues. First time a lady is handling Defence post Indira Gandhi era.. congrats Niramla Seetharaman.. Modi has now two women brains in his cabinet..

With elevation if Nirmala he has given clear signals to TN cadres that he is serious about entering power corridors of that State

It is a tragedy that tamilnadu could not use the talents of Nirmala sitaraman and she has to find recognition at national level. TNs loss is national gain.. A perverted

reservation policy based on rejection of merit and encouragement of mediocrity in the name of social justice can only take the state further downhill. the recent call to reject

NEET for medical admissions,admissions to engg colleges on the basis of a perverted feeling of glorification of reservation of a caste based policy has lead to lakhs of rotten

professionals graduating out of these institutions.Their academic credentials are dubious and they are unemployable.Engg graduates find employment in low class jobs in IT

majors,Doctors send many to heaven by bad diagnosis and treatment.Unless meritocracy is recognised TN has no future.Brahmin hating is no solution to all that is bad in TN.

Firstly Nirmala Sitaraman was never in TN after her Graduation She did her PG in Delhi JNU & Worked with Pricewater House Mumbai after her Marriage She joined the BJP in 2006 even as her husband Dr. Parakala Prabhakar joined the Prajarajyam party floated by filmstar Chiranjeevi in 2007. At no point She tested waters in TN,

Secondly NEET is not a solution at all least to say that any quality will come or merit will be honored ,It is going to only make education sold to the highest bidder who can afford coaching fees .
