Would You Stop Someone From Littering? SOCIAL EXPERIMENT

Would You Stop Someone From Littering? SOCIAL EXPERIMENT - YouTube

People complain about how dirty our roads are, people complain how the government doesn't do anything about it, people complain all the time. But, are they willing to do what is in their hands? That's what we wanted to find out when we filmed this experiment. Do people care about not littering? Does it even bother anyone?

This is a Social Experiment. No actual littering was done in the process of shooting this!

I dont litter at all but I will never tell an unknown person not to litter cos why take the risk?

Some people might get angry and might even assault us or worse still take out a gun and shoot us.

So no way I will tell anyone I do not know not to litter.

singapore has do not litter signs all over the place in metro .

I am very sensitive to this inside my apartment in delhi. I do not mind picking up pieces of papers thrown away by others and put in dust bin

I do not like to tell others what they should do regarding this .

I have a neighbour who throws packets of garbage out of the window of her third floor flat . It is a bother for her to reach upto the ground as she has to walk down for it . no lifts .mostly others have to do it for her . the cleaner daily shouts about it . if I hear a thud in the morning . I know the lady is alive and kicking.

when there is a dust storm in delhi , which is common in summer, lot of plastics get collected at my gate . from where it comes I am clueless

We have ragpickers coming early morning , carrying away bags of littered plastics and paper . they even make a living out of it

renukaji

I understand your logic

Indians do not litter or urinate in Public places while living in US, UK , Australia and in other Western Countries, but the some ( repeat some ) do urinate, or litter in public places in India

There may be many reasons for this like NO DECENT REST ROOM ( PUBLIC TOILETS) or Dust Bins in appropriate places.

Here in US , even a Small Store has a very clean Rest Room, For both Males/ Females ,and on the High ways ( Freeway ) Rest rooms with Facilities are constructed.

In India, this concept is missing, males urinate or relieve themselves anywhere, Females find it very hard to travel long distances by Buses or cars.

Even in in some decent Hotels, the number of toilets are inadequate , long line of Females waiting to use is it is a sight everyone can see.

In the west, normally in city Centre, shopping malls and in road junctions with subways, toilets are available and sign posted. What does one do in sparsely populated villages, countryside and drive through deserted roads? I have seen americans, english and germans making free use of good earth and open space.
