Of course, the form to be filled is in the attachment, to get the details of my bank account!

The pity is that the sender does NOT know that I don't have a FB account or read the contents!! :tsk:
Any of our forum members are lucky too??? :peep:

Dear Raji Madam,

Congrats for the fictional award!

That is for the gullible!

The wise and astute will

Separate wheat from chaff!

And resist the allurement!

You befit the latter!

These cases should handed over to the Cyber wing of police for action! They will create a decoy to catch the criminal hiding as a good samaritan!

Dear Ganesh Sir,

The sarcasm in my post was minimal! :)

No problems Madam..When a similar mail came to me 10 years back, I immediately got in touch with the number which was based somewhere in Europe...I told this to my family..My sister cautioned me against proceeding..Otherwise I would have been the guinea pig losing money in return!

this kind of messages are very common on mobile or mail . i have won crores of rupees from various mails , mobile posts . it is also in dollars and pounds . every week I get a call from someone or the other telling me that I have got an unclaimed LIC bonus , or collect a free gift from some local location ..and asking for personal details . Initailly I have tried threatening about reporting to police. they do not care and dare me to do it . now , I simply hang up .

My younger sister was checking her F B account from my P C. So this announcement of 'prize' was in my mail box!

How they got my mail id is something which I wonder!! :spy:

Ok RR ji, even assuming that it was not a scam. What would you do with 3 million quid? Dont you think it would be a curse?

Dear Biswa Sir,

I believe in hard earned money. So :nono: to anything which comes easily!

I don't even buy the ''buy one take one free'' stuff because they will be from the old stock. :)
This applies to even food stuff which are given with free gifts!

Too much of anything is good for nothing, right? :decision:

you are missing a lot in life by self imposed controls and saying 'no' more than 'yes'.
hands are always on the brake .
of course , there is need for such a person in every family .
in my family , I refuse to be the one.
let others practise restraints
I will be a free soul.

Dear Krish Sir,

One more kuraL that I like very much is this:

yAdhanin yAdhanin neengiyAn nOdhal
adhanin adhanin ilan.

Meaning: “In whichever objects a person
has no attachment,

there will be no pains to him / her, because of those objects”

P.S: This forum might be added in the list as and when required!! :peace:
