Article about You’re Too Focused on What You’re Focused On
In short, we pay too much attention to what we’re paying attention to.

Highlights (what I think are highlights)
Assuming other people are focused on the same thing we are is at the
root of many kinds of miscommunication
We all have a tendency to egocentrically ascribe our own perspective
to others. That doesn’t make us selfish or bad. But it’s worth keeping
in mind that everyone’s attention illuminates the world in a
particular way, and what gets spotlighted differs from person to
person.

I do realize the tenet of the article applies to this thread too - I think it is an interesting article. If others feel different, I respect their views. Similarly what I think are highlights of the article may not be highlights to others. Again I respect others view(s)
