You can be attacked while taking Money from ATM


Probably some of you might have seen this video and read about this Attack which happened in Bangalore to a Lady inside ATM Booth

It is just to remind each and every member to be cautious and whenever you go to withdraw/ deposit cash/ cheque through ATM, IF POSSIBLE , please take another known person with you to help you in case of emergency.

A woman was critical after an unidentified assailant attacked her Tuesday with a machete inside an automatic teller machine (ATM) kiosk in the city centre. The CCTV camera footage, obtained by the police from the bank, shows the unmasked assailant entering the kiosk when Jyothi was before the ATM to draw cash, and threatening her after pulling down the shutter from inside.

we have come to terms regarding living in a violent , crime prone society .It has become a

way of life . when we read such news items , it is sensible not to over react . there is

no end to the security measures we can take .if taking them makes one feel safe , well

fine. other wise ignore , have faith in human beings and carry on .

my flat got burgled a few months back when i was out of station . I simply accepted the


loss , barricaded the flat with more iron grillls etc and simply carried on . one learns to

cope and learn to live with these .

like terrorism , when it happened in delhi several years back for first time , we were

shocked . If a minor blast were to take place today , in delhi , we would shrug off and

carry on.
chennai is facing it for first time. so I can imagine their shock and horror . tamilnadu has

been a fairly secure place . peace is getting disturbed.They will also come to terms with

it
