நீ , வா, போ , வாடா, போடா, வாடி போடி !!

நீ , வா, போ , வாடா, போடா, வாடி போடி !!

(NEE , VA, PO, Vada Poda or Vadi Podi)

The Joy of calling our friends வாடா போடா or வாடி போடி ( Vada, Poda or Vadi, Podi ) only in our younger days only and gradually vanishes as we grow older

It is very common among many young married couples to address each other like

நீ , வா, போ ( NEE , VA, PO) also வாடா, போடா
but old married couples still address வாங்க , போங்க , வாம, போமா ( vanga , ponga, vaama, Poma ) and sometimes by names …

Many Kids address their parents நீ , வா, போ ( NEE , VA, PO) like that and i feel that increases the closeness between them.

I have seen many parents addressing their Kids also வாங்க , போங்க, ( Vanga, Ponga ) but i am not sure whether this way of addressing one's own kid is equal to addressing by name or singular way நீ , வா, போ ( NEE , VA, PO)

When addressing your Deity சாமி வரது , ( Sami varathu ) சாமி கும்பிடு , ( Sami Kumbidu ) are very commonly used; Seldom one address GOD as சாமி வரார் (SAMI VARAR)

There also I feel addressing your God in Singular way, சாமி வரது increases the closeness between a devotee and his GOD...

Just a Thought.
