Ganga

Godavari
Harmada
Sindu

Saeaswatis whereabouts are under inestigation
Sindu is manly in Pakistan
Glaring Omissions
Brahmmaputra
It originates from the same holy place as Gaga and Sindu
Manasrovar Lake
Mahanadi
Shares the birth place with Narmada
Krishna shares the birth place with Godavari
Commn explanation
They are male rivers
Fogotten/ No Disclososed fact
Al the three rivers are associated with Budhist and Jain religions

Dear Shri Khema,

Scholars say that the vedic people (i.e., the people who composed or used the hymns & verses of the Rigveda) travelled from west to east in the Indo-gangetic plains of northern Indian subcontinent, in the ancient days and after crossing the rivers in (today's) eastern Iran, Afghanistan, the Indus and its tributaries as also the Sarasvathi, they reached the Ganga. The mantra we use (and which you quote) is from the Rigveda X-75. Its rishi is held by convention, to be one Sindhukshuta, son of Priyamedha.

Now, the tenth book or Mandala of the Rigveda is believed to be the least ancient of the ten books. One view therefore, is that the earlier books or portions were all composed during the long journey from eastern Iran till the Ganga-Yamuna doab, and that this rishi with his knowledge is paying respect to all the life-giving rivers through which his people had journeyed in the past. The names of the rivers are arranged from the east to the west, as follows:

Ganga
Yamuna
Sarasvati -this river is now held to have been flowing in the areas of the present day Chambal ravines. Pl. google or
sarasvati river and you will get a wealth of information.
Sutudri - Sutlej
Parushni - Ravi
Asikni - Chenab
Vitasta - Jhelum
Arjikiya - Beas
Susoma - Indus

Hope this explain

Dear Sri Sangom
First of all the theory that the vedic people moved from west toast no longer held to be valid
The earliest mandalas of the Rg Veda are Mandalas 5 and 7 and Mandlas. 9 and 10 being the latest
(Cit The AryansHistory o Vedic Period by KC Aryan and S.Aryan)
The movement of the Vedic people have no relevance to the present Mantras
Brhammapura which originates in Manasarovar passes tough Budhist countries lie Tibet
Mahanadi is part of Asokas kingdom where Budhisam flrished
On the banksof the Krishna there are a lots of Buddhist sites
Incidentally Srisailam was a great Jan Vihara which the Great Adi Sankara won over
Even now Jain figurines are there
