Background
Vedas are descriptions of cosmic evolution. The divinities mentioned in the Vedas are various cosmic forces that guide our Universal evolution. The incidents mentioned in the Vedas are various cosmic events that happened around the dawn of our Universe.
Hence in the series on Aditya Hrdayam Again, I am presenting a 'frame-work' to understand these divinities and events. When one reads the Rg Veda in this framework, Rg Vedic slokas depict the Universal evolution as almost in the standard model of evolution of Universe as it is known today. More important, they appear very coherent and logical in this framework.
While I keep posting the actual series in the Vedic Hymns section, I thought I will create a separate post connecting them together and keep presenting a bigger picture in these posts under General Discussion section.
Classes of divinities
There are two classes of divinities described in the Vedas. The forces of classical domain (Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, Skanda, Shakti) and forces of quantum domains (Indra, Varuna, Soma, Dhanada, kAla, Yama, Rudra etc.)
It is explained here.
If Shiva is the Energy, Shakti is the Momentum and Rudras are force-fields, then Linga is the Energy-Momentum relationship.
It is explained here
This leads to concept of 'Manas' the virtual particles and 'Nara' the real particles.
It is explained here
From Atma, the extremely virtual, Manas the virtual and Nara the real evolves through Asvins.
It is explained here
Next to come..
Will describe more on Atma, Manas and then the various Prajapatis, Rishis and how evolution flowed through them to divinities like Indra, Varuna, Mitra, Agni etc..
