IN last few years due to distributive justice policies of govt. rural wages have gone up accompanied by increasing aspirations for better living with higher demands for consumer goods
also young and not so young are demanding as a matter of right better life with material comforts instead of petitioning and hoping for it . it is this which is also getting recognised by political class in electioneering
A theory is being floated that aspirations can be satisfied only thru more reforms and more growth . Lack of growth accompanied by massive corruption in 2010-12 has led to this situation.
also the finance minister during the period simply put a lid on growth due to corruption and political compulsion. we are paying the price for that
what do you think . ? do we want more opening out or should india apply the brakes some more to control inflation and prices.
middle class more than the poor are feeling the loss of material prosperity due to lower salary increases and callous corruption by politicians . Is growth again possible without corruption and reasonable prices
what do you think?
