Boney M - Rasputin

There lived a certain man in Russia long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear

He could preach the Bible like a preacher
Full of ecstacy and fire
But he also was the kind of teacher
Women would desire

RRji,

Usually malayalees have problem with plosives (employment when pronounced will become embloyment and complaint will become comblaint. LOL). They never add adequate stress to the plosives. But Sowmya even though a malayalee has no problem. Her Tamil and rendering of kritis is good. I like her singing.
Dear Sir,

When I settled in Sing. Chennai and joined Prof. S. Ramanathan Sir's music class, Sowmya was in her very early teenage. :)

Her father worked in Cochin but I don't think he is a Malayalee.

This is Sowmya yesterday

A women?s day at Tamil Isai Sangam - The Hindu

True She is endowed 'Big' with Sareeram and Saareeram!!
Can't you highlight the good features of persons, J J Ji?

Right from her teenage, she is my pet. So, no adverse comments about her in forum! :nono:

Now, have a look at her education:

- Currently pursuing M. A. (Sanskrit) at the Univ. of Madras

- Ph. D. (Univ. of Madras, 2012) for dissertation "A study of the effect of temperature variations on the pitch of a double-headed drum (mridanga)"

- II Rank Holder and Gold Medalist in B.Sc. (Chemistry), Meenakshi College, Madras University, 1990

- M.Sc. (Chemistry), Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, 1992

- I.I.T. Blue, for excellence in Academics and cultural activities, 1992

- I Rank Holder, B. A. (Indian Music), University of Madras, 1996

- I Rank Holder and Gold Medalist in M. A. (Indian Music), University of Madras, 1998

- Paper on "Microwave Enhanced Reactions in Carbohydrate Chemistry" in Synthetic Communications

Nodody denies ! She is qualified to be here also - do you deny? what is so adverse about it? Bhumi-Poster girl of Plus-size club

why negative posts on bhumi.

she is the best that has happened to hindi films.

she looks like the normal indian woman.

the simple harmless type next door behenji one can relate to and trust.

I have one like that in flat above me.

She hangs on to balcony most of waking hours.

she keeps track of all visitors to my home.

she enquires about them and updates her knowledge about them.

if electricity or water supply fails ,she reports to appropriate people and sees it is fixed.

she means no harm and we need more of this type in this world

three cheers to bhumi behenji

I would have been glorifed if you had added an a to make it erratica mannar! The regular feature you see in TOI by MS Bacchi Karkaria on the editorial page ! I am a great fan of her I like the way she writes - Rcent below for a taste !

Crossing the Laxman Rekha – How a common woman occupied the room of the Common Man January 29, 2015, 12:03 am IST Bachi Karkaria in Erratica | Edit Page, India | TOI It was a very big chair to fill. RK Laxman was a small-built man with a giant reputation. Yours truly is a smaller built woman with same-size reputation. So it was audacious, even reckless to occupy that swivel of leather and wood. It was ergonomically designed for him. It was ego-nomically sat upon by me. Praying that i wouldn’t get butt-kicked should the king walk in and find a pretender on his throne. The borrowed pomp came through circumstance. In early 2000, Laxman had moved to Pune, lock, stock and sketch pens. The Times of India’s big brass decreed that his airy corner office on Mumbai’s editorial floor be left untouched in tribute. After all, he was ‘a legend in his lifetime’, and an acknowledged national treasure. Then, in 2005, this arriviste arrived. Two new dailies were about to challenge the might of the TOI’s hoary Mumbai flagship, and i had been asked to move back from my Delhi posting and help ward off the wannabes. But there was no vacant cabin other than Mr Laxman’s. Could The Shrine Be Desecrated? From the highest echelons, the nod was given. Timorously i stepped across that hallowed threshold feeling the bristling, horn-rimmed gaze of Laxman on my back. You can imagine my trepidation: during my previous years here, the room was out of bounds. Even the lofty Editor had never ever simply walked in. Any meeting was entirely at the will of the Irascible Genius. By the time I rejoined the Times Group in 1990, the editorial nerve centre had moved to Delhi. Laxman had refused. But he kept grumbling about his intellectual isolation, about being stuck with us lesser beings. He would amble into the 10.30 editorial meeting, remind us of editors past, and then leave us to get on with the day’s business. He, of course, had almost finished his by then, having arrived at 8.45 am at a still-empty office, and got down to his celebrated daily cartoon. Permission had been granted for me to move in, but the orders were that nothing should be moved. It was weeks before I was allowed even to flatten the angled drawing board for my desktop. During my entire tenancy, the name plate remained ‘R.K.Laxman’. Small price, big privilege.

:clap2: You got my quote right, J J Ji! No confusion at all.

Probably you did not use back space and delete the ' ] ' mark after '[/QUOTE]' :spy:

This is the adverse comment!
Many singers of hindusthani and carnatik music resemble bhumi.

it is because , they spend hours sitting during practice and concerts.

they have no time to concentrate on their own bodies.

they like to preserve their voices and take lot more fatty liquids [milk etc] besides starchy food.

have you seen gangubai hangal for example, equally big built

one does not look at shape of artist ,one admires their music

This is not an advese comment about their bodies! "Healthy" tip to watch their body weight! Women are prone to Thyroid Deficiency Myxoedema! The early symptom - gain in body weight! This myxomatous deposits get on the Vocal cord as well and they may develope hoarseness of voice - Hence Musicians should be aware of this !!

3. A Hoarse Voice

CHINNAJCHIRU KILEE?

This parrot is in fact a female model who posed for 'world bodypainting champion' Johannes Stötter.

The Italian artist spent weeks planning the transformation, taking four hours to paint his subject with ink.

The model's arm forms the parrot's head and beak, and her legs form the wing and tail feathers.
