You all probably know that Blackberry has been on a downward spiral over the last few years, losing loyal Customers to brands such as Apple. Blackberry has now been focusing more on the enterprise Market, as it knows fighting in the Consumer Market is a competition it just cannot win.
Blackberry has announced the Blackberry Classic, which has lot of elements of old Blackberry Phones, such as the trackpad, hardware navigation buttons, etc.
It looks like a Blackberry Bold, but on the inside it is much newer, with a 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core S4 Processor along with 2GB RAM, which is not the cutting-edge, but it is better than what you will normally find on Blackberry Phones.
It also has a 8MP Camera.
Coming to the screen, there is nothing to write home about, with a 3.5″ Screen with a HD (1280×720) Resolution, which is becoming the standard Resolution for Blackberry Phones.
It runs Blackberrry OS 10.3.1, which is the latest version of Blackberry OS, compared to some Blackberry Devices which are still stuck in the OS7 era.
It is primarily targeted towards Enterprises, who couldn’t care less about the Apps, and only require a great Keyboard Experience. It is available on Amazon and on Blackberry’s Website now, for a price of $450 Unlocked in the US, and $499 in Canada.
What do you think? Would the Classic be able to find success in the enterprise sector? Blackberry announces the Blackberry Classic, giving you Old-School at $450 | Tech Geek Forever
