[h=1]Blackberry is going out with a bang: The Priv would cost $700[/h] October 23, 2015 Kishore Ganesh Leave a comment Edit
We are kidding, of course. But no one is to dispute that Blackberry’s prospects are growing more and more dire day by day, and its first Android phone may be considered as its last hope, as its catalyst for getting back into the consumer market.
Usually, Blackberry prices its phones much lower than the competition, because although the hardware and software are fantastic, the App Ecosystem isn’t.
But this time, Blackberry has got excellent hardware, excellent software and a diverse App ecosystem, which is perhaps why Blackberry is launching the Priv at a high price.
Preorders for the Priv started recently, and Blackberry has slapped on it a $700 price tag, which is higher than what you pay for an unlocked iPhone, or even a S6. That’s the price you pay for a physical keyboard.
What do you think? Will the Priv sell?
