- Whenever we find time, as we have not given this world the air we breathe, we have to be thankful to God for giving us air to breathe.
- Every time we inhale, be thankful to God for giving us air to breathe.
- Every time we inhale, absorb the miseries of the world into you and exhale the goodness in you.
- Inhale from Mooladhar and pass it through the give chakras i.e Swadishtan, Manipoorakam, Anahatham, Vishuthi & Sahasratharam and exhale in the Ajna chakra. If possible do it 108 times. Otherwise 21 times atleast
- In temples, Breathe from the deity and spread it throughout your body.
- Be conscious at which nostril you are breathing in and which nostril you are breathing out
- Observe the gap between breathing in and breathing out.
- Three gunas always prevails during day and night Satva Guna if prevails is the best for spiritual growth. Tamasa Guna is feeling stressful, drained, unable to concentrate etc. Rajasa Guna is feeling active. To change from Rajasa Guna, breathe in the left nostril 21 times closing the right nostril. In the same way, if you want to be active, change the breathing at the right nostril closing the left nostril and breathing in and out in the right nostril for 21 times
- If you want to avoid anger, be conscious and watchful when there is anger. Over a period of time, even before it arises, we will know and hence can avoid it in entirety.
- If anything is not normal (abnormal) in you For example Thoughts, Mind, Body, Emotions etc be aware of the breathing. Then the abnormality will cease.
