Thiruvaasagam 8.001

The 'Self' separates from the 'house' of Easan (lord shiva), manifests in 7 forms, living in 7 ways, alternating between them, struck in this lifecycle.

How can it merge back in the house of the Lord..? Manickavasagar explore this in thiruvaasagam 8.001

The 7 life forms are microbes, fungi, plants, insects, birds, reptiles and mammals. The 7 living ways are neutralism (living like stone), competition (like human), parasitism (like ghosts), sacrificial (like ganas), predatory (like asuras), commensalism (like munis), mutualism (like devas).

The 'Self' gets struck in this life cycle and manifests in one of these forms and in one of these ways repeatedly. By surrendering to that Easan who is called by different names and praised by vedas as the Lord, I realize He is inside my self as the Omkara, says Manickavasagar in thiruvaasagam. I thus found the way to merge in his abode, he says.
