If the so called harassment of the woman journalist at Captain TV owned by Actor Vijaykanth, is true the News editor has to punished as per law...

Initially it was said that dispute was relating to wages

Whatever be the truth, one thing definite is : " Aavadhum Pennaale, Manidhan Azhivadhum Pennaale " .

Some of the towering personalities who [ seemingly ] had impeccable characters and were held in
high esteem world-wide, have all come tumbling down, supposedly because of a few moments of
indiscretion - spike in hormone levels could be the cause.

And that covers Pontiffs, Politicians, Powerful Bankers, Pressmen and Paragons of the Indian Judiciary.

A man, when on the high pedestal and in the central focus of the world stage should make sure that
his " Zipper is In Place ".

All that is required is just one 'expose' to cause a fall from grace. The episodes of Pamela Bordes and
Monica Lewinsky are not very far back in history and there will always be Anna Chapmans and many
more 'honey traps' in the future too.

I guess, it is getting difficult for menfolk to be well behaved.

You are right. Those who misbehave with opposite sex, necessarily have to pay penalty.

While there is a quote like this " Aavadhum Pennaale, Manidhan Azhivadhum Pennaale "
there is also a quote ‘Behind every successful man there is a woman’.

IIT Don Suspended for Sexually Harassing Student

A senior professor of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) has been suspended and evicted from his official quarters on the campus following a proven charge of sexual harassment of a young research scholar on a trip abroad.

Informed sources said the incident happened more than two months ago when the professor asked the research scholar to accompany him on an academic visit to Germany and allegedly conducted himself in an inappropriate manner there.Upon returning, the girl filed a formal complaint with the institution. She also supposedly approached the National Commission for Women (NCW) seeking action on her complaint.

“The same professor was earlier caught in the company of a non-teaching staff on the campus. The woman later took voluntary retirement,” said an administrator at the IIT Madras. Initially, the IIT Madras authorities were learnt to have sought legal opinion on dealing with the professor.

On December 18, while the action proposed against the professor was still unclear, Express e-mailed a questionnaire to the IIT Madras Director and Registrar seeking details about the handling of the complaint. The next day, Registrar, V G Bhooma, sent an ambiguous reply refusing to confirm or deny any case of sexual harassment.
