Great news for senior citizens who have passed 65 years. Sri Venkateswara Tirumala Free Darshan for Senior Citizens.
Two slots are allotted. One at 10 AM and another at 3 PM. You have to submit Age Proof along with Photo ID and report to S1 Counter. Cross the road from the gallery below the bridge to the right wall of the temple. You don't have to climb any stairs. Best Seats available. Once seated, hot hot sambar rice, curd, rice and hot milk.
It's all free. From the car parking area at the temple exit gate, a battery car* is available to drop you at the counter. All other lines are disabled when viewed. *Only senior citizens will be allowed to visit without any pressure or coercion. After the darshan queue you can exit darshan within 30 minutes.
