Men tend to think that women are possessive of them (I guess it makes the men feel good!!LOL) but frankly speaking we women are not possessive most of the while.

Possessiveness is a sign of insecurity and it is not really a healthy phenomenon.

Men who dominate their wives basically lack confidence and they try to display superiority by being dominant.

Most dominant people are actually lacking confidence in their basic nature.
They can't take NO for an answer and are actually covering up all their insecurities by putting up a bold front.

Give and take policy is the best and husband and wife should be able to live without feeling possessive or dominant.

To me I feel a dominant woman is actually wasting her time.

Dominance means extra thinking,extra work and extra energy expenditure.

Live and Let Life is "Eco Friendly"..it saves lots of Energy.

BTW the situation you are talking about is not actually being Dominant but being In Charge of the particular situation.

Woman can not be dominating the scene in every act otherwise the guy will land up with Disuse Atrophy!

You are so right. Single track mind helps focus on just one thing we need. Our concentrations doesn't get diverted. Here is an example.... I was massaging my wife's right upper arm in the kitchen. She said " can you massage both arms, please? I have pain in left arm too"... I checked and sure enough the mucle was hard in the left arm too. I started massaging and said she had to do something about that pain. She asked my suggestion. I suggested more sex. She got visibly annoyed and said " No! that can't be the remedy for everything! That is not a 'sarva roga sanjeevini''.. i said she did not understand the patho-physiology of that act! Now she was really curious.... " okay! tell me! How the hell that can alleviate my shoulder pain? If you suggested a good massage, i can agree. But for everything you suggest just one remedy!'...... i said " Okay! Here is the pathophysiology. You offer me that, I become very happy and give you a very good massage not only your arms, but also your back, shoulder blades and where ever you have pain! A total massage a day would keep you pain free! Now do you understand the patho-physiology?"..... After learning a new lesson in patho-physiology, she was sitting there speechless.

Yes. We man seldom see only one out of ten; but we somehow know how to get what we really want!

Tell your wife that the pain she is having is referred pain!!LOL

Tell her the original source of pain is not in the arm itself.

See ..this way you make yourself happy and keep her happy too cos when the mind is distracted we do not feel pain.

But Renuka,

Jokes aside, she does have fair bit of pain. I suspect torn ligaments. Once surgery was suggested. In those times I was just a student. She couldn't even lift her arm properly. I asked her to give me a go before seriously considering surgery. With regular massaging and by improving blood circulation in all that affected areas her pain reduced considerably. My charges were standard all the time. Of late the demand for massages were greatly reduced. hence the pain. I offered a complete massage regimen. That should work.

Distraction of the mind is a very good therapy. Besides, very light exercises and plenty outdoor should help too.

I don't think so. Woman domination can be a cure for atrophy caused due to disuse. You know something? Chances of prostate inflammation can be greatly reduced by avoiding that atrophy. Last week we screened 'Charlies Angels' movie in the conference hall. All the guys were sitting with a dropped jaws through the movie. I didn't like that movie though. But I loved that outfit. Don't know.... if the woman wants to be dominant, she has to work at it, I suppose.
