Death for Rapists- Shenaz Treasurywala pleads.

Remember MTV 'Most Wanted' VJ Shenaz Treasurywala? Well she has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bahchcan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Anil Ambani.

Dear Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Anil Ambani,

I am writing to YOU specifically because you are the most powerful and influential MEN in our country.


Points from her Letter

Why do we as women have to feel so threatened? WHY has there been no severe action taken? This has gone on for years now. Not just in Delhi but all over our country and yes even in BOMBAY OR MUMBAI OR Whatever the hell you want to call it! It’s NOT SAFE. NO!



no woman can walk freely in the streets even in broad daylight by herself in the CAPITAL OF OUR COUNTRY. Isn’t this a SHAME?

This is our No 1 issue. FIX THIS before anything else.

I beg all of you fine gentlemen that I have addressed to help change the LAW.You are powerful men. I say, SHAME and PUNISH THE Gropers and Sexual offenders severely. KILL THE RAPISTS.


I won’t ask for public castration which is what I want and all the women want because I know this is unrealistic and things move SO DAMN SLOW in our FINE NATION.

All I ask for is the -Death Penalty Please. NOW! QUICK!
If that’s too hard or will take too long then at least LIFE IMPRISONMENT. Put them away forever.

Why was this man who had raped twice before out on bail?

And then given a drivers license? YES, BAN UBER TOO. Make everyone responsible.


Why should we as women feel so unsafe in our motherland?
Why should we as women be terrified and on guard all the time?
Why was this man out on bail after committed two rapes already?
Make an Example Of Him.
Any man who even touches a woman should be imprisoned for life. Be strict, make examples of these men, scare those who dare to touch us.

She wants death penalty. I doubt even if the rapists will get imprisoned for rape. For example, I read 2 or 3 months ago that somewhere in NI, that 2 girls got raped and were murdered (hanged down from a tree). I read that these rapists were not even caught by the police.

I am not sure about death penalty, but if Indian police catch the culprits and make them serve a life term in prison, that itself is a big deal in India, and I wish that happens. Besides, killing frees the culprits very easily. They should be made to serve a full life term without parole in maximum security prison, just to give them a taste of hell.

Just my opinion.

Who the hell is this shenaz??? No one knew her, till she wrote this rubbish letter.

What the hell does she mean – “even in BOMBAY OR MUMBAI OR Whatever the hell you want to call it!”

If she feels strongly on a specific issue, she should go & reach out to people & educate them. Only by spreading love, one can conquer the hate, evil called rape. Reach out to all the people in slums & spread love for all humans so that they are encouraged to support the women folks instead of harming them.

Instead, this person writes an acerbic letter to gain some attention & dis-respects the home city in which she grew up.

I will not be surprised if the Mumbaikars booted this idiot out of Mumbai immediately.

Did we not read about the false case filed by two sisters who thrashed a few guys under the pretext of eve teasing?

If a rapist also kills his victim and it can be proved beyond doubt then a death sentence is fine.

But other wise..I do not think its advisable.

Females themselves will start misusing the law and cry rape for every failed love affair.

Law makers should be technical and not be driven by emotions.

I was seeing some Zee TV about celebrities and their so called rape offences.

Most of the so called rapes were reported by their girlfriends that too after a long live in relationship.
Some of these females live in with a movie director/actor hoping to get a big break into movies and then when things do not materialized they cry rape!LOL

Give me a break yaar..why complain...its a trial and error situation..girl wants to make it big..hangs around celebrities..alcohol is the new H20..Drugs is the new food..live in for god knows how many years..keep gunning it..then when the Big Break into movies never comes..all hell breaks loose...Break Ke Baad its always Rape!LOL

These men also make full use of what they get and land themselves into trouble and after paying off these females the case is thrown out of court.

Like once out here a married celebrity had an affair with another man and then broke up and acted innocent and told her husband that it was that man who enticed her and there was a court case on grounds of enticing a married woman!LOL

It takes 2 to Tango isnt it?

and take a taxi to return home, almost like an insane; then blame the driver for molesting her!

You are wrong, Women in general experience all sorts of harassment in their day to day life.

Women have been facing some harassment undeniably in day to day life. Also they have started speaking up and protesting more .

The encouragement and blowing it up is leading to further backlash as many think it is a fact of day to day life and most could get away with it due to poor police

action and very bad law enforcement mechanism.If there is very fast exemplary justice , it will reduce to a large extent.

One of the major reason is a very large migrant single male population in cities with very little resources and not having outlets for sexual gratification.

Many ladies also do not care about their own safety.besides they are not armed enough to take on anyone . besides physical strength, they require to be mentally hard

and also carry sprays, move in groups if possible ,avoid lonely roads at late hours and have male escorts/friends whom they trust to drop them home if they frequent

parties. also confidence matters a lot. I know many girls travelling in autos alone engage in mobile talk so that they are fully in touch with friends or people at home

and inform where they are all the time. such things can really help .It is mostlylocals do not get hurt much . only visitors, others not familiar with the town , streets

,people,language are victims . another group are call centre or late working or partying types. also those who pick up cabs at railway station or airports are vulnerable

if it is late evening or early morning. Autos are safer as it is a open vehicle , one can easily avoid any bad incident.

most ladies do not take cabs unless they are sure about the identity of driver .

the more dangerous are inhouse molesters mostly relatives , specially children or young girls are their victims. they get away scot free as family covers it up.

Recently saw an Alia bhat film who recalls her childhood trauma just before her marriage.

No doubt I agree that a female should not go out alone late night and have drinks etc cos it increases the risk of being raped but even then the taxi driver has no right to rape.

So the best way is for us females to protect ourselves.

I have even changed my petrol station where I fill petrol cos the pump attendant was being over friendly and showering too many compliments on me and was even trying to find out where I stay.

So I felt it was not safe to go there cos the person could be a predator.

Little things do add up and we females just have to be alert.

I also do not take the elevator alone with just another person no matter male or female.I usually wait till many people get it.

These days no one can be trusted.

there may be a few bad eggs . banning all cabs because one cab driver turned out to be bad is irrational

simlarly banning all E rickshaws -transport for poor just because couple of them were involved in accidents.

that way all govt buses have to be off roads if some driver/conductors are molestors, trains booking also have to be stopped for ladies in first AC as some run empty

with very few passengers and not safe for ladies. similarly men board ladies coaches and ladies /police are not able to stop it.

One can carry on with this type of logic and end up with a sick girl fearing and hunting society.

Burden of proof has to be high on the law enforcement people, not the victim.
Once guilt is established there has be Prison term for life.
In the process of investigations all people involved who obstruct justice - cops, politicians , men and women who lie - need to be given very harsh sentence.

This can be accomplished only if India establishes a separate oversight body over how reported crimes are handled by law enforcement.


In the USA prisoners get raped by other prisoners. I do not know if this happens in Indian prisons as well. Law enforcement has to be made accountable to prevent such acts.


I know I am dreaming - none of these suggestions will ever become real

I do not feel taking precautions is losing faith.

Its just safety.

For the past 2 months in North Malaysia there has been almost a daily gruesome find of dismembered body parts thrown all around wrapped in plastic bags.

One day its a head,.next day its a leg and so on.

At 1st the police thought it was a serial killer but changed their mind when all the victims were Myanmar workers and now the killers have been identified as Rohinyas becos they have been having ethnic clashes back in Myanmar. There was even some talk about cannibalism!

Ok when police initially suspected a serial killer....many of us were taking precautions not to be totally alone.

Now when the actual reason has been identified..the fear has gone.

So its the same..when some incident occurs everyone just becomes more careful.

Very true. Can't trust even oldies! Some take advantage of their age.

In many cases women get into problems because of their carelessness.

I remember a post from P J Sir about teaching young girls the difference between good and bad touch.
