मुंबई, दि. २२ (प्रतिनिधी) - बहुपयोगीपणामुळे गाईला हिंदू धर्मात पवित्र मानले जाते. गाईचे दूध, गोमूत्र आणि शेण या आपल्या घरात आणि परसदारात असणार्‍या बाबी आहेत. पण हेच गोमूत्र व शेणाच्या गोवर्‍या युरोप व अमेरिकेत मोठ्या प्रमाणात निर्यात होत आहेत. हे ऐकून यावर कोणाचाही विश्‍वास बसणार नाही, पण हे सत्य आहे. या निर्यातीमुळे हिंदुस्थानात १२५ कोटींची उलाढाल झाली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे ही आकडेवारी केंद्र सरकारच्या निर्यात यादीत देण्यात आली आहे.
गोमूत्र हे घर शुद्धीकरणासाठी वापरले जाते. अनेक धार्मिक कार्यात गोमूत्र, गाईचे दूध, तूप व दही आणि शेण या पाच गव्यांपासून पंचगव्य बनविले जाते. घरात वातावरण निर्मितीसाठी जमिनी शेणाने सारवल्या जातात. गाईच्या शेणापासून बनविलेल्या गोवर्‍या जाळल्याने हवेतील विषाणू, कीटक, डास नष्ट होतात. गोमूत्र प्राशन केल्याने मूत्रपिंडाचे आजार व मूत्रविकार बरे होतात. पोटाचे, त्वचेचे व श्‍वसनाचे विकार दूर करण्यासाठी तसेच पंचगव्य परदेशात उपयोग केला जात आहे. युरोप व अमेरिकेसारख्या प्रगत देशांमध्ये गोमूत्र आणि गोवर्‍यांची मागणी वाढली आहे.[FONT="][/FONT]
