Google wants to become a Wireless Carrier

It is no secret that the state of Wireless Carriers in the US is horrible. They charge high prices and offer poor customer experienced, and do not update the Software of a Device even months after an Update is released.
This is probably why Google is looking to launch its own Wireless Carrier service, codenamed Nova, according to a report by The Information. It will piggy back on the networks of either Sprint or T-Mobile, enabling it to deploy a Wireless Service quickly while not having to take on the task of creating a nation wide infrastructure.
The Google Carrier Service will probably be cheaper, and will offer better Customer Experiences, and of course, faster updates. The Google Carrier Service does not aim to become popular, and instead serves a role Model for other Carriers and is a wake up call for them, so that the overall landscape is better. This is similar to what Google is trying to do with Google Fiber, which is Broadband Service started by Google to offer higher speeds at lower Price.
What do you think? Would you choose Google over the others?
