I wish I had lived in Chennai to identify with these!! But I am moving to Chennai soon!!
I would remove "THE HINDU" from the list; the newspaper has become a sycophant to DMK govt., and all the anti-brahmin groups and communists. They should remove the name "HINDU"; the newspaper, claiming "secularism" has no business to have that name.
It is laughable for Mr. Ram to claim to be a "secularist" (only when it comes to Hindus) and then run a newspaper with a Religion name!!

Yes, quite a list, mr SF. Would look forward to your moving to Chennai as i am sure you can provide the benefit of your leadership for the community.
Regarding The Hindu - you needn't worry since the list mentions only the "Friday Features" of The Hindu as a highlight....Friday Features covers film / art.
I also agree with your observation of The Hindu becoming a Pseudo Secularist. It indulges in BJP bashing without rhyme or reason.
