The film Ashiqui released in 1990 boosted the careers of Kumar Sanu as singer and Nadeem-Shravan as a composer duo. It has 11 tracks many of which are nice and brought Filmfare awards to Kumar Sanu, Nadeem-Shravan and Anuradha Paudwal.

Dear Mr.manoharkumar,

I agree with you. Pankaj Mullick, C.H.Atma, K.C.Dey and K. L Saigal all of them were great singers of yester years.
Noorjehan, Suraiya, Amirbhaikarnataki, Zorabhai ambalawali, among the females, are good. Ashok kumar also used
to sing in achyutkanya, kismet and other movies. All very simple but soulful.

One comment on the you tube was really hitting the nail! "niceum copyingum Vidya Balanum wannabeum" Lol i feel this song was like copying Oo la la and VB in TDP...oh well immitation is the best form of flattery right? :). But Vidya did it first...
