2014 is over and 2015 is in, meaning that the yearly refresh cycle of all Products has been kicked into Motion. During the first half of 2015, all Companies will announce their latest Products, and perhaps even announce some near the end of the year.
For Smartphones, MWC (Mobile World Congress) is one of the most influential events, since this is the place where almost all flagships (With the exception of those from Apple) get launched.
It seems HTC too, as usual, is looking to launch its latest Smartphone there. It has sent out invitations setting the date of the big day as March 1st.
According to rumors, its latest Flagship is codenamed Hima, and has top of the line specs as usual. HTC might be getting rid of the pesky low-res Ultrapixel Sensor, and go with something a bit more common.
Indeed, HTC might also announce companion Wearable Devices at the event, as HTC has said that its focus has shifted from Smartphones, because they are a saturated Market and just about every person owns one in Developing Countries. The real battle is about to be fought in other Product Categories, such as Wearables.
What do you think? What Products will HTC announce? Will its transition from a Smartphone Maker to a Devices Maker be welcomed?
