Mercury starts soaring up in Sing. Chennai. Here is a two-in-one drink:

Make very thin buttermilk with one cup curd and ten cups water. Grind some coriander leaves, curry leaves and a bit of ginger

into a nice paste and add to the buttermilk.
Those who have restriction in salt intake need not add salt. The drink is ready for

the day; enjoy it frequently, till 5 p.m (*). This is two-in-one drink because it helps to quench thirst and also to lose weight, because

we won't need any junk snacks in between meals! :thumb:

P.S: * - Intake of more fluids after 5 p.m will give a wake up call at night!!

Lemon scent is usually disliked by insects. I used to clean the kitchen slab with lemon scented lysol, to keep the ants away. Now,

I wanted to test something cheaper. Vim cleaning liquid with lemon smell is available at a cheaper price and I tried it. Ants and

even lizards, which were regular visitors, are totally gone. I add a few drops of the concentrate Vim liquid to half a bucket of water,

to clean the floors also. Easy and cheap pest control ! :thumb:

To polish silver articles, I was using viboothi. Kunjuppu Sir asked whether we can do that, since viboothi is sacred.

So, now a days, I am using 'Sabena' powder to polish silver articles and it works well!

Method: Spread some Sabena powder in a cloth and turn the silver article over that till it becomes clean. Then wipe

again with a white cloth.

Silver items kept in bank locker became black. Not sure whether covering trhem with tissue paper or thin cloth will help.

Dear Sarang Sir,

Silverware rolled in a cloth and kept inside a polythene cover helps to prevent the tarnishing to some extent.

All of you forgotten one ready to wear MADISAR . The present day mamis prefer only that ready to. Wear garment.
Dear Sir,

I have already posted my innovative 'Two minutes madisAr' this thread. I stitch it with a six yards saree and half of an under skirt!

Probably you missed to read it! One friend from the U S of A appreciated me heartily for that idea! :thumb:

P.S: Those available in the market are bulky and I don't like them.

Perhaps you can accept and execute online orders, get registered with amazon or any online retail company. Aim is not to make big money, but meet the requirements of select discriminating customers.
Dear Sir,

If I had this idea two decades back, I might have tried to accept many orders! Many of my friends told me to patent the design. :)

Anyway, I am stitching for my family and extended family members. Last week, I helped Ram's cousin's wife to stitch one, by

giving instructions through skype chat. The first one came out well and now she has made one more, for her sister in law. :thumb:

And in another restaurant, a mirror which shows the persons thin - at the entrance;

and a mirror which shows the persons bulky - at the exit!
