Dear Ranganathan Sir and dear Renu
Good to hear that you are alright now and back to normal. I am very happy to hear that you know Sanskrit and still interested in learning more. It is a rare talent Renuka, Keep it up. I am very proud to share with all of you that my mother was a Hindi and Sanskrit teacher and was teaching in Sanskrit pathashala. She can write songs in Sanskrit, she has written many songs, slokams on Lord Muruka (our gramam’s deity and on Lord Krishna) Very good knowledge in Sanskrit grammar. I too can recite many Sanskrit slokams due to my mother’s guidance. That’s it. Good Renuka, Sanskrit is India’s ancient language and very happy to know that my friend is good at it. Keep it up. All the best. So, aaj k songs bandhan k naam. Anandi

Dear Ranganath Ji,

Sri Tulasi Kirtana

namo namaha tulasi! krishna-preyasi
radha-krishna-seva pabo ei abhilashije tomara sharana loy, tara vanchha purna hoy
kripa kori' koro tare brindavana-basi
mor ei abhilash, bilas kunje dio vas

seva-adhikara diye koro nija dasi
dina krishna-dase koy, ei jena mora hoy
sri-radha-govinda-preme sada jena bhasi

TRANSLATION
O Tulasi, beloved of Krsna, I bow before you again and again. My desire is to obtain the service of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna.Whoever takes shelter of you has his wishes fulfilled. Bestowing your mercy on him, you make him a resident of Vrndavana. My desire is that you will also grant me a residence in the pleasure groves of Sri Vrndavana-dhama. Thus, within my vision I will always behold the beautiful pastimes of Radha and Krsna.I beg you to make me a follower of the cowherd damsels of Vraja. Please give me the privilege of devotional service and make me your own maidservant. This very fallen and lowly servant of Krsna prays, ''May I always swim in the love of Sri Radha and Govinda.

Sowbagyavathy Valli,

The song about the civilians plight is touching. I really wish initial peace deals were considered more seriously.... at the end, the price is paid by the helpless civilians who were trapped in that 'catch 22' situations.

Renuka, Anandi, Ravi and other friends,

Whether emotional or melodious or philosophical or gregarious, hilarious songs,
only in this thread we do not fight.

We like each other with full heart and wish to continue and continue .....

We have a common ground and bickerings are totally eschewed.

Dear Ranganthan Sir and Renu
Ranganathan Sir, you are great, Hats off to you, I like it. Absolutely true. Here we accept all with full heart. And what is the need to fight. We get knowledge from each article and all have the right to post their views. You get to learn from all, Let us enjoy this friendship, new found relationship.. And just forget everything. We are in different parts of the world, destined by the God to meet in this forum, let us share our views and enjoy each others company. All are different and we have to accept all as they are. In a bouquet, there are different kinds of flowers but all give fragrance. Different colored, different scented flowers are the beauty of a garland.

Two very soothing songs from the legend Smt. M.S.Subhalaxmi especially for you Sir. Respects Anandi

Dear Ranganathan Sir,
Very Beautiful songs, you are true, if we follow such songs for a long time, we can able to identify the ragams very well. Everything depends on our enthusiasm to learn new things. I have learned Carnatic songs till Varnam for a while and now trying to learn Veenai, whenever I get time. But my interest is in Classical Dance Bharatanatyam.. I just love it, I have spent almost 20 years and still there are so many things I have to learn.. It is just like an ocean.. If you want to know more about any art form... You have to keep on learning it.
Please listen to these songs, fantastic songs! So melodious and inspiring... So much relaxation it gives… All South Indian Singers are Legends in their own way… Respects.. Anandi
