folks - these national channels are deliberately targeting N Srinivasan, Gurunath, Sreeshanth & before that with Shashi Tharoor, Raja, Kanimozhi, Maran, Yeddurappa, Kalmadi, Jagan Reddy, Reddy Brothers etc... !! Look at the 24x7 coverage against them, & what kind of vitriolic languages used by them !!. why was such a targeted campaign not conducted against Abhishek Manu Singhvi whose explicit sex video was on youtube for all to see?. similarly no such campaign against Ashwani Kumar & Pawan Bansal ????

Recently the ahmedabad edition of the hindu business line was launched and narendra modi was the chief guest. Chris gopalakrishnan of infosys was also present, and he said a few good things about modi.

Modi said in his speech to be careful of what they say or they will be targeted by the congress government. Last week narayanamurthy praised modi in a meeting in baroda; within 2 days infosys got letter from IT for a claim of Rs 500 crore unpaid tax. Gopalakrishnan will know why if he too gets a demand notice soon.

In panel discussion the tv anchor will immediately silence a panelist the moment he starts commenting about the gandhi family. The panelist will not get another chance to open his mouth.

You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I am not sure whether fear or greed propels the media.

Moral responsibility.

Lal Bahadur Sastri resigned as Railway Minister owning moral responsibility, when an accident occurred in Ariyalur in 1956.

Even though Sastriji is remotely connected to the accident, he took moral responsibility and resigned from the job.
People had high regard for their job and had high Moral responsibility.


This moral responsibility to own the sins committed by very close relatives like son, daughter, son in law, wife, and even Sisya is vanishing nowadays; people just cling on to their position and trying to protect the person or distance them from that person.

I also suspect that there is some hidden agenda behind all this unholy hullabaloo, though, clearly the people detained are culprits and Srinivasan also is no saint. My suspicion is that there is a concerted move to make cricket a sole preserve of some exclusive groups, since it is no longer mere sports, but a goose that lays the golden egg! Many people getting to learn the ropes about the dark side of the game, like cricket betting, money laundering etc., is very inconvenient to some quarters it seems. Many players and others linked to the game, etc., must have made fortunes in this way in the past also, but those old skeletons are not to be exposed, it seems.

The best course will be to completely ban this multi-billion rupee scandal in India and announce volley ball/foot ball as the national sport.

The people targeted are all from South India. The others are from North India. :decision:

Anything and everything is being used to make people get distracted for the scams

of the government which followed one another like Diwali rockets. :bump2:

People's memory is very very short-lived. :loco:
By adding all these distraction we can be made to forget any real issue in no time. :whoo:

Meyyappan has become Poyappan and Noyappam for the media. A few years ago there was a write up on Sreenivasan. When India Cements was in doldrums and Sreenivasan had to make frequent trips to Mumbai to seek fund from financial institutions. The mandarins of the institutions treated him with contempt as dhotiwalla from the South and asked him to wait in their officers on days on end without attending to him. He persisted and succeeded in his efforts notwithstanding the insults. India Cements has been resurrected. The man's rise is commendable and here is India to gobble him up by hook or crook particularly he made the colossal IPL. Many are vying to catch the hen which lays golden eggs year after year and rehabilitates as well forgotten figures. There is an all India clamour. Mr Sreenivasan failed to notice the dubious hands which helped him climb the rungs. Now those hands are trying to pull him down. Besides, it always goes with the rising man to ignore the pitfalls from one of which he also found his s.i.l. Sons make fathers shine more and Ss.i.l. always try to remove all those shines. Our community has peculiar habits and is prone to self-destruction. Whatever that has been wrong should be corrected with the help of the same man. To ask for his resignation is like BJP asking congress to resign so that it can sit on the gaadi. Opportunists galore.
