in delhi both parties congress and bjp felt aap will play spoil sport. they damaged both and came to power on congress support. in other states congress is not the main party to take on as their chances of retaining power are slim. they may definitelly spoil modis chances of getting 170 seats

Modi’s ‘Swagat’ outshines Kejriwal'’s anti-graft hotline: BJP

Modi's scheme is system oriented and has been in place for a decade. More details are available in the govt web site.

"On the 4th Thursday of every month applicants arrive at the Chief Minister’s Office in the morning. Grievances are scrutinized, registered and instantly transmitted online to the concerned authorities at the Secretariat level, District level and Sub-District level, whereupon the authorities input their replies by afternoon on the same day. From 3.00pm on the same day, the Chief Minister personally listens to the applicants one-by-one. The grievances as well as the replies of the concerned authorities are available through the system on a screen. The concerned secretaries are present along with the Chief Minister, for direct interaction with the aggrieved citizen, and district authorities are connected through video-conferencing."

"SWAGAT was the Winner of United Nations Public Service Award 2010 for improving transparency, accountability and responsiveness in the public service category."

'Delhi Government's 'anti-corruption hotline' is no match to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's public grievances redressal system 'Swagat'.

'Swagat' has been in place since 2003 and this three-tier system has worked successfully at the taluka, district and state level. He said this scheme of Modi's government has won the United Nations Public Service Award in 2010.
''Under the Swagat scheme grievances are logged in, transmitted and made online to officers concerned and who have to reply within 3 to 4 hours. All complaints are monitored by the Chief Minister,'' he said.
Jolly said complaints are reviewed online in the presence of the complainant, Collector/District Development Officers/ Superintendent of Police and other officials. No applicant has ever been left out without any firm reply or response to his or her grievance. ''The entire process relies on the Gujarat State Wide Network GSWAN and it connects with all 25 districts and 225 taluka headquarters. The 92.45 per cent excellent track record of this scheme is a prime example of good governance by the BJP ruled states,''

good. karnataka has janaspandana with computer terminals for registering grievance and telephones and online support for follow up .
but most poor have requirement of house sites and employment which govt, is unable to address. citizen charter can give a timeframe for reply but not solve the real problems of the people . gujerat has marginalised minorities and is anti poor.so no respect for them

I have not been in Gujarat so I do not have first hand knowledge. This is purely hearsay from Gujarati's.
If you complain too loudly about some of Modi's henchman or their highhandedness you will get a visit from Amit Shah's goons.
You just need to ask all those Police officers in Jail because they dared to cross path with Mr. Modi and Sahib got annoyed.
Mr. Sarag you may have different experience as you are so close to BJP functionaries.

You can close your eyes and say it is dark. Who cares.

If you don't have faith in the SIT report and the court proceedings and verdicts, it is your privilege. If the hostile congress government is unable to pin anything in ten years, it must mean something. Even in your adopted country, you may not have first hand knowledge of many issues because you did not make a personal visit.

The police officers settled their personal scores and got caught by the special investigating agencies of the central government. Modi did not arrest them. It is immaterial whether they crossed his path or not.

All I have said are in public domain and nothing to do with BJP functionaries. Your stated hatred for modi and bjp blinds your mind and intellect.

I refer to post No.124.
Number of Delhi Students do study in Anna University purely on merit basis. My own grand daughter who studied in Sardar Patel School
,Lodhi Colony New Delhi joined Alagappa Institute of Technology,Guindy(within the premises of Guindy Engineering college,Guindy) on merit basis.
Two of her colleagues are from Gurgaon & Jammu and Kashmir.
Every State in India reserve some percentage quota to mert students from other States.

krishnamurty jiDo you know the negative aspect of this quota. though there is seat reservation on zonal basis ,it does not extend to branch selection. since most north india follow the CBSEpattern in school final, they get bad branches such as manufacturing ,chemical etc and not ECE or EEEor CSE. these are hogged by south zone mostly AP students
