No matter how much "Freedom of Speech" there is there are bounds, imaginary though and depends on the context, that writers in TB have to adhere to. I do not think this correctly summarizes the situation prevailing. Veterans do not decide the bounds of freedom of Speech nor do they have any over-arching authority to determine the issue of civility.

Veterans are merely ordinary members who have made more posts and/or have been "active" members exceeding a specified duration of time.

Are intros compulsory? From what I know, they are not. I made it clear why I wrote in to Sravana in the spiritual energy thread. I have not said anything different from what other members, like a-TB are saying. I also made it clear am disappointed with Sravana's reponses and will not be disturbing him anymore. He does not even seem to get the last question posted to him. So, it is understood that his response will not be to the point, as usual. Which obviously means am at the fag end of my interaction with him; not requiring further responses from me. Yep, i took the liberty to comment on few other posts (and also disagree with your views). That need not mean am here to stay. So, don't worry. Sravana will know there is no intention to be disrespectful to him. But yeah, you are free to construe anything you wish. Its your intention anyways. Praveen will know me from my email and IP addresses. He will also know that am unsubscribed from all threads since when I began posting here. From my point of view you are welcome to post your views and they need not obviously have to agree with my views.
I was only surprised for a person with a 'newbie' designation to communicate as if they have known many of the members here. Hence my comment.

I thought you always wrote well and had a point of view to share. When I first joined I did not introduce myself. However, I do remember interacting with you and though I may have disagreed with your views, I was impressed at the depth and quality of interaction.

As far as privacy, nothing is lost - mostly none of us have provided anything that could be deemed personally identifiable information in this public forum. At least most of us are careful though we have proactively shared information about ourselves in many areas.

I do not belong to any group. I think mutually respectful interaction will continue to make this site a unique one.

Hope you stay and share your views - Let us forget the past and start new set of exchanges of views.

Usual bunch of cockamamie here . There was never a requirement to reveal anyone's personal info in the forum. We are all anonymous. I am anonymous. But being anonymous is different from practicing deception like people who often come here and write made up stories claiming them as personal experience. That is one example of deception. or people making up multiple IDs to reinforce the point they are making. That is why there are rules with respect to how many active usernames one can hold etc and for good reason. Neither me nor TKS, nor TBS, nor zebra, nor sravana and many others ever needed more than one account in this forum. Why some people have the need to constantly go off and come back under a different pseudonym is a fair question on anyone's mind. It is a pity that people haven't learnt from the circumstances that created this situation in the first place. Change is not good if people regress. That is what is happening in this member's case.

Am entitled to my view that you are a dimwit, displaying sheer idiocy, habituated to playing victim attitude (as if hinduism belongs to you; and all your fantasies apply to your version of hinduism). Also FYI, Kala Bhairava, I do not lack money, resources, nor brains to have my own forum. If I have eschewed my ego, despite sheer immature idiotic behavior displayed by some members here, such as yourself, it is only because I have chosen to do so. That is enough to tell how motivated I felt to communicate with Sravana. As also to some others, thru my posts to Sravana; since this forum is the only place thru which I can get to speak to him/them.

You are free to delude yourself with deception or anything else you please. You are prone to delusional attitude and foolish behavior, because that is what you are. TKS, it is obvious Kala Bhairava used you. He waited for you to post first, then chose to do his usual smearing / alleging. There was no need for you to refer to past IDs. That was unnecessary. But you did so, even though I mentioned Praveen will know me from my email and IP addresses. Well, what can one say.

Raji Ram, most people choose to be publicly anonymous; in order not to attract the wrong attention from certain quarters. The few of you who chose to have your real identities online do so, because you have nothing to lose. You belong to the side from which you need not expect trouble.
