Such thefts report at Tamil Nadu, more particularly at Chennai and with price of Gold shooting up everyday , jewelry shop owners are the victims.

They have to keep vigil over both the staff and the customers. Security measures such as appointment of uniformed Security Guard and provision of CCTV, etc are of no use.The Modes Operandi of these groups are such that simply divert attention of the staff and escape with the booty.
