Dear Ganesh ji,

This is the Iron Age(Kali Yuga) so everyone is automatically an Iron Man(Kali Yuga Man).

will it worth creating a society called "kaliyuga brahmins" who are basically working people living in cities. the culture and rituals must be followed by them can be defined.this will lead people to follow certain DHARMAM and make people happy.

The constitution is written for common person. It is difficult to enforce it. People do not feel that they have to follow the rules laid out. We have so many politicians, executives, law enforcement, courts, and jails working full time to work it. It still works only periodically.

Why do you think a new set of rules be any better?

If The Topic is about the currently running Yuga,, it is worth a discussions by this forum. Let me give out my opinion. we, all know that elders mention Kaliyuga for all evils happening day in and day out is directly attributed to Kaliyuga now, 5000. Plus years.
What theSastras say as per P.pundits, unthinkable and unimaginable things would be seen and we Brahmins are also directly affected. If any one has doubts on the deterioration of Girls ,wanting to marry outside ourcaste is the most retrograde fall of our community. Any amount o f supporting such cases,, if it is by those affected parents, I would like to c onverse.
If any one is seriously interested, can talk to me on p) (044) 24806871.

So you think only girls deteriorated and boys kept up with the Sathya Yuga standards? Are you the one without sin that you are ready to throw stones at the (so-called) sinners?

Simple answer yes, what is the other option? Kill the child?
Why do you think there is any other option. Your child is important to you, what ever the world think of them.
Ka kai ki than kunju pon kunju. (Even to a crow its chick is the most beautiful). We may not like it, but learn to like it as the happiness of your child depends on it.

How much money did the Muslim guy have for both the sisters to marry him? I am surprised. I would have thought it was for love.

why too much is being made of TB girls marring NBs.We are better off with these educated TB girls marrying outside their communitites. let other communities also suffer equally these girls.LOL

A generation of TB boys are going to stay single because of their parents and their greed and desire to ill treat their daughter in laws.

It might become like Haryana with skewed sex ratio , politicians promising girls from bihar to boys in return for vote.
TB girls can opt for haryana boys. TB boys might be the ultimate losers

Biswa ji,

I am just imagining something else..isn't 3 a crowd! Well lucky guy!LOL

Wonder will a TB female be able to handle a Jaat male?

Don't we say Ekkedu kettu Ozhinzhu Po! I think posterity will be there to write about these girls! They will be a misfit with their NB cohorts too! Such rotten girls should be thrown out by the NB's too...Then they will understand..

I too have seen about a dozen + our community girls marrying Christian, Naicker, Pallan, Paraiyan, Chettiyar, Vannan etc in Tamil Nadu and another dozen or so marrying Sindhi, Nairs, Punjabi, Sikh in North India...90% girls & 10% boys for the wayward children of TB in Tamil Nadu...In the north it is 50-50

Surprisingly none of the contemporary authors are touching this subject

Idhenna kodumai Krish Sir!

Most of the tambram parents are PPP = pallu pidungina pAmbu!!

Wow, this seems to have touched a personal nerve. Rotten girls!

I actually agree with Krish ji. TB girls are not so easy to handle. Let other communities share the burden! :)

I suppose none of the members here have Girls in their family, and they have terrible DILs. The amount vitriol splashing in these posts is surprising. I suppose there are no Guna-Brahmins either.
I see even Rajiji has jumped on that wagon.
There must be a special group of TB girl hater's group here.

It is not disparaging any one member, it is general statement about active participants. LOL

Dear Sir,

I am surprised to read this...why do you want to say Rotten Girls..that is too harsh in my opinion.

From what I can sort of understand that TB males and their parents seem to have a hard time accepting that a TB female can have her mind on her own and can be in total control of the situation.

I guess men still want to exert rules and regulations on girls and want them to tow the line of tradition without taking into consideration a girl's personal likes and dislikes..its seems to be a female is expected to be a carrier unit for the continuation of the Y chromosome and nothing more.

The day males and females can accept each other as equals in all matters that is the day I feel any marriage will be totally stable..being married and not divorced does not always translate as a stable marriage..some just dont like the hassle of a divorce and stay on for personal and financial reasons too.

Dear Prasad Sir,

We have many girls in our family and some have married even NBs. We have to just grin and bear it. OK?

I am NOT a hater of tambram girls but I am just writing the experience our family has faced with tambram girls!

Dear RR ji,

But many TB guys too have married NB or even Non Indian/Non Hindu girls ..I remember one member before mention his male relative had a gay marriage too..but how come guys are never portrayed as Rotten..need to grin and bear etc..why do girls always get the blame.

I remember you said that some known person married a Thai girl and she was adopted by the relative of the boy..given a gotra and then married...was that done under the Grin and Bear too?

I am not finding fault with anyone here but one has to be fair to both boys and girls..cos when a guy marries a NB/Non TB/Non Indian/Non Hindu or even another guy..no arrows are shot at guys but women are targeted with a missile that can even outdo the new BrahMos!LOL

there is no emotion attached to my posts.

the attitude of TB girls is because of what the girls of previous generations have undergone at the hands of boys and inlaws. they are just over reacting on accont of their higher education , jobs they hold and under guidance from their parents who egg them on to be unreasonable

the terms they set to most TB boys for marriage are unreasonable. most TB parents of boys
are extra careful in selection of girls . while the girls are indisciminately breaking the caste and religion barriers, TB boys are becoming recluses and drop outs unwanted in brahmin community and not preferred by NBs. hence their pathetic status.

only last week , I heard about a well placed brahmin boy developing cold feet just a few hours before engagement to a TB girl with good education and job , approved by both parents and cleared by him after conversing online with her. He discovered that she was earning a bit more than him and academically more proficient . she talked in flawless convent accent and in english while he was comfortable in brahmin tamil. he feared that he could not cope with her . what a reason for breakdown of engagement?. TB boys are unable to come to terms with the liberated new tamil brahmin girls wanting their own space and supporting her own parents instead of boys.
inlaws staying with them is a big no-no. I pity the TB boys .
they are getting pulled in different directions by these girls and his parents. you can see the matrimonial pages of The hindu. you can see Ads of many TB children . Divorced girls and boys looking for better mates. marriages are breaking down due to conflicting pressures and many separate for flimsy reasons . there is no more adjustment and tolerance. it is straight breakdown and looking for better alternatives.with this bleak scenario marriage has ceased to be worthwhile for many

NB and other religion girls marrying brahmin boys have my blessings. only they can put up with TB boys and their outdated conventional parents. probably boy and his parents can adjust better with them as educated, well earning brahmin girls no longer want brahmin boys with parents living with them.only the foolish will target the other community or religion girls accepting brahmin boys as their spouse.
in fact i think these will make better matches for TB boys who otherwise might stay unmarried .these are the neo -orphans of the brahmin community .lol

A very thought provoking post.
The concept of equality in marriages is a recent phenomenon. one finds many boys and girls of almost the same age [ with age difference of 1year or so] , equally well educated and employed getting married. when after marriage when equal space is denied to the girls by the boy and more by his parents, the conflicts start.it often leads to boys parents getting marginlised and thrown out or daily conflicts between boy and the girl . many endup in divorce courts and separation.

it is easy to say that it is better to separate than continuing a marriage for financial reasons and to avoid social stigma. many old timers do live under these compulsions. when there is lack of basic commitment to marriage and it is seen as a prop or label to carry around in society for respectability , I agree such a marriage is dead for all practical purposes. divorce is only a legal formality.

renukaji
you are personally invited to delhi
I will introduce you to many TB girls married to jats and other communities from punjab and haryana ,
the males are fairer and smarter . these boys relate to TB girls better than TB boys.
but you will find very few TB boys marrying punjabi or haryana girls. It is pretty rare . TB boys in case entrerprising , would prefer UP or bengali brahmin girls . they come nearest to TB girls .The main reason for this is that their parents are govt employees from british days and post independance and there is similarity of home and work culture.
