Katrina Kaif for President of India: Justice Katju





Justice Markandey Katju has done it again. The retired Supreme Court judge now wants actor Katrina Kaif as the President of India.


In a post on his blog (SATYAM BRUYAT - Justice Katju : Katrina Kaif for President of India), Katju on Wednesday said, "I suggest we make Katrina Kaif the next President of India, but on condition, that she sings ' Sheela ki Jawaani' on her Inaugural ! (sic)."


Katrina has not responded yet to what is perhaps the most flattering remark ever made on her.

Croatia, which has an ailing economy, has elected a beautiful woman, Ms. Grabar-Kitarovic, as its President.

I am always in favour of electing beautiful women, like film actresses, on all posts. This is because politicians will promise the moon, but not do anything for the public welfare. So since you must have someone, why not vote for a beautiful face ? At least you will get some momentary happiness looking at her face in the media. Otherwise you will get nothing at all.


I suggest we make Katrina Kaif the next President of India, but on condition, that she sings ' Sheela ki Jawaani' on her Inaugural !

I am not sure I would expect KK to sing at her inaugural (she is not known for her vocal prowess after all). But it wouldn't be bad if she does her "Sheela ki jawaani" dance.

The role of the President in India seems to be very limited, any way! When Mrs. Pratibha Patil was President, the only time I read about her was when she was on a foreign visit to commemorate the inauguration of some event or important award giving ceremony out there... and now same thing happens to Pranab Mukherjee... I am sure Pranab Mukherjee would have found better fulfillment of his role as a Finance Minister earlier although the power and authority might be more now.. Anyway I hope Presidents in India do really play a significant role in bringing about all those enactments and policies for public welfare behind the scenes..

So why not Katrina Kaif? Surely she can be President of India!

As always, depends on who you ask. The box office record though is unequivocal and seems to say that plenty of Indians enjoy seeing her on the screen.

Maybe she is a very talented actress! I do not know much about her other than how she looks because I do not watch B'wood movies.

Take Julia Roberts for instance, she isn't a great beauty (she does look good but in a girl-next-door way though) but owing to her talent, she was the top actress of her days!

In Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood, beauty = talent. I believe she has acted in a Telugu movie as well, and I find it hard to believe that it would be for her Telugu acting.

In general then none of the Telugu and Tamil women seem to have any acting skills. Otherwise why would they be importing Punjabi women to act in all South Indian movies?

BTW as far as I know her ethnicity is always a controversy..her dad is supposed to be a Pakistani-Kashmiri Muslim and her mum a white.

So how can she be president when she is Pakistani-Kashmiri and not a citizen of India?

Who knows some other Judge might recommend Sunny Leone.

Wow! Our taste differs so vastly!

I do not admire so much of all the heroines with a tiny 'mouse-like' face including Deepika Padukone and Julia Roberts, though they might be sharp-nosed and are slim.

My admiration goes to real 'Samudrika Lakshanam' like the painting of the slain dancer woman Rajinikanth gets impressed with in the movie 'Swarnamukhi'!

Of the old-timers actress Jayapradha had 'Lakshanam' in her face, though she wasn't a glamour queen. Of the youngsters I like Asin, who is both beautiful and glamorous!

And not to mention...but Sonakshi Sinha is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I like her large, generous and gracious face!

Of the Westerners, I like good old Angie the best! She too has a large enough face that is not mouse-like!

I love Deepika..she has such beautiful sharp features.

I used to like Jaya Prada too..she too had sharp features and a beautiful face..she is really beautiful that you wont notice her short stature.

I also like Rekha Gemini Ganesan and Ramya Krishnan..both are killer lookers.

Present day I also like Priyanka Chopra who has many type of Indian blood in her..her dad being a Punju,Bengali mix and her mum being Malayali and Tamil mix..so madame Chopra is the exotic sexy Indian.

Aishwarya is also my favorite ..a classic beauty.

I like leggy slim and tall beauties who ooze sex appeal.

Sonakshi is rather homely and needs to slim down to be tops in Bollywood.

I also like Nandita Das for her exotic sharp looks with a rich deep skin tone.

I love African American looks like Tyra Banks..the combination of tan skin and natural green eyes is a killer!

Also I like Naomi Campbell she is African with a Chinese grandmum and she has a great body with a sexy V shaped face.

I love her legs..its as sexy and powerful and has real toned arms.

BTW I cant stop laughing reading you classifying humans as rodents!

The retired judge can concentrate on legal clarifications. Amending useless laws etc., and prepare many youngsters to raise to supreme court level will all be praiseworthy than his suggesting an actor to the top position in india

I am also not too young..will be 45 years this year.

But I admire all types of beauty..young and old alike.

Most Indian actresses let themselves go after marriage and child birth..even Aishwarya has not got back her slim figure but she has lost lots of weight anyway..good for her.

I admire Shilpa Shetty cos she wasted no time and got into shape quite soon after delivery.

Older actresses of the south have gained too much weight.

I used to be fond of actress Radhika of the South cos she could look stylishly modern and look like a village girl with ease and do justice to her role.

But till today one the best faces ever is Rekha Gemini Ganesan...even Hema Malini loses out to her.

Rekha has that 'come get me "look that can make even females go weak!

Deepika is my favorite....I love her skin tone..its tan and sexy.

I am not fond of Kareena Kapoor..she looks too Punjabi.

I prefer those who do not look too ethnic and have an all India look that is neither distinctly North Indian or South Indian in looks but a sort of neither here nor there type of looks.
