Madisar stitching and wearing ready made for occassions

Sir/Madam
I seldom wear iyer madisar.now i have 2 saris ...one of my late Mil and my mom(lost my dad 4 years back)who gave it to me after demise of my dad.to both of them it was given for sumangali prathanai by their respective people.my dilemma is since stitching it for easy wear is available now,can I get it stitched
Please clear my doubts

Mala
First and foremost I appreciate your desire and intent to wear the Madisar, during religious functions and rituals.
Wearing a madisar saree for a long period is a tricky business uncles you are adept in that art or there is always someone who can help you in wearing it properly.
Otherwise there is nothing wrong in wearing a stitched one.

Thank u for solving my dilemma. Makes it easy for me to drape and start my work on such occasions as I get panicky when I need to do things with the shastri sitting and me not keeping him waiting
