In the photograph of Tiruvaiyaru Unjavruthi, I am able to indentify few musicians. They are: Mridangam - Palghat Shri Raghu; next to him is Sirkazhi S Govindarajan; Violin - Shri M S Gopalakrishnan; Behind Mridangist - Madurai Shri Somasundaram; Other faces, I am not able to say with confidence.... Those are the wonderful days, when musicians visited Tiruvaiyaru every year with real sincerity and dedication..... Nostalgic period !

It is said that there is a scientific background which explains the greatness of the Marghazhi month. According to
this, the ozone layer will be lowered a little bit and because of this, disease will reduce and gives a healthy body.

Hence, visiting temple in the early hours during the month would be auspicious, which is a very old tradition
followed by our ancestors and forefathers over the ages
and it has been proven scientifically that the Ozone layer will be
very close
to the earth during the month of Marghazhi, in sanskrit is known as Dhanur Month.
