In the section on "IT & Technology" I only see news items mostly about research done in USA and perhaps few other countries.
Somehow I rarely see anything accomplished in India in that section.

What original and innovative work is coming out of India's R&D and Technology organization? Does anyone know?


I am guessing Government of India must be spending non trivial money in fostering innovation.
