I know a family who changed the birth stars of a girl. In the morning the girl born, the star was AAyilyam, but the parents put that the girl was born in the night so that Star was Magham. In Ayilyam the horoscope had all the Dosha, and since they put evening it looked like a perfect horoscope without Dosha. I know their family well and I can only smile at them. I am seeing lots of grooms visiting her house and negotiate. This is a bride side story!!

I am still missing something. Why is this thread titled Oh! America! Is it for gratuitous America bashing? Is all America involved in incest? Or is incest only confined to America?

Recently there was an incest case out here..a Non Indian Politician and his 14 year old son had been charged for committing incest.

The politicians's 16 year old daughter was raped by her father and also by her 14 year old brother.
The girl got pregnant and it was her younger brother's child.

The whole story came to light when the girl broke down and told her teacher that she is pregnant.

But still nothing beats the case I saw once.
An Indian lady was going into labour and she was carrying a baby girl(here doctors are allowed to reveal sex of child cos abortion of female fetuses are not done since abortions are illegal here).

She was begging me and the other doctors to push her baby girl in and not take the baby out cos it was Amavasai and she was crying saying no one will marry a girl born on Amavasai.

She did her level best to stop baby from coming out at one time when the babys head was already out she put her hand on the babies head and tried to push the baby in again.

I feel extreme horoscope craze should be stopped.

After all life is just not all about being married.

Thats Crazy Dr Renukaji. Is That possible? it is like trying to put the ejected toothpaste back to the tube!! What all beliefs and customs have been filled up in our brain from the childhood!! It would be really difficult to break out of these shackles.. Poor lady .. cant help sympathaising with her.

It will be better to keep the story secret now.

No worry. Great truths are also discovered - indians love praise, indians love to see others misery.

Aristotle will cringe in his grave if he can listen to these generalizations.
