Palakkad Iyers under Tipu Sultan

During the Mysorean invasion of Malabar (1766 – 1792), Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan controlled Palakkad for almost three decades. Are there any historical sources or oral traditions documenting the state of the Palakkad Iyers under Hyder’s/Tipu’s rule? Was there any damage sustained to their agraharams, were they subject to conversions like the Nairs and Namboodiris of Malabar, etc.?
