Tamil culture has parathiyar, warring kurunila mannar, starving pulavar and drunk thalaivan and what not.

But it is a composite culture which respected samskrit, brahmins and theistic literature.

"Vedangalai etrupm potrum tamizh ilakkiyangal and tamizhaga andanar varaluru (2 volumes ed.) by Sri Lakshminarayanan are worth reading to understand and appreciate the two way contribution.

It does not matter to me if people want to delude themselves about tamil culture and heritage.

I only wish people who are incorrigibly intolerant at least stop being condescending!
