This time, one such statement has come from a senior politician from Karanataka, who has said that two men raping isn't a 'gang rape'.[/FONT]
[FONT=arial !important]The bizarre remark was made by none other than the Home Minister of Karnataka, Kelachandra Joseph George who said that he does not consider a rape as 'gang-rape' unless more than two people are involved.

[FONT=arial !important]The minister made this remarks while replying to a question related to the alleged sexual assault of a BPO employee by two men in a tempo traveller.

[FONT=arial !important]“How is it a gang-rape if two people rape? Shouldn’t there be at least three or four people for it to be called gang rape?,” the Karnataka Home Minister said in his reply.

[FONT=arial !important]The minister, while expressing his curious concern over the definition of gang-rape, said that according to him at least three to four people are required for gang-rape.

[FONT=arial !important]George and his Congress party is likely to face the Opposition's ire over the gang-rape of the BPO employee, which has triggered concerns over women's safety in the IT state.

[FONT=arial !important]Meanwhile, the Bengaluru police had arrested two people Suneel Omkarappa (23) and Yogesh Malleshappa (27), both drivers by profession for allegedly sexually assaulting the 22-year-old woman.[/FONT]
[FONT=arial !important]Police said that the two men are from Kadur in Chikmgalur district and have been in Bengaluru for the last three years.
