What Makes You An Indian TAMIL BRAHMIN.


1.when the shampoo bottle seems to be over, he pour some water in it, shake it, and use it for another bath.

2.For him a toothpaste isn’t over until he entirely flattened it out and started rolling it up from the back.

3.That he don’t just recycle gifts, he recycle the gift-wrapping paper too.

4That he worry about price of gold without any intention of buying it!

5 That I will beat the crap out of my remote to make it work; but not change the battery

6.He get so disappointed if the pani puri guy doesn’t give a free s puri in the end when he ask for one.

7 That he won’t have his breakfast and starve himself if he had been invited for a lunch by a neighbour.

cos I am guilty of

Actually there is always some residual shampoo at the bottom of the bottle..adding water will make it enough to use.

Yup...I go one step further and I cut the toothpaste tube into 2 and put the brush in to take out the paste..believe me there is quite a lot inside if we cut an almost empty tube.


If I am invited for lunch or dinner anywhere..I usually skip one meal or take a very light meal before that so that my total calorie intake will be less for the day..to balance out to prevent over eating.

You are really honest .Out of 7 qualities you are having three and so you are a TB to that extent. Cutting the toothpaste tube into two is a very good idea.This may be included in the list.

A suggestion was made to make peanut jars with top and bottom lids since close 20% of the butter was thrown away by the american households. But the americans ignored it because peanut butter is cheap and not worth scrapping even with a convenient second cap.

We pack the excess food and give it to the guests, old tambram practice. All guests were given kattu satham for their short or long journeys.
