Over the past few Months, we have been seeing rumors and even leaked images about Samsung’s Metal Smartphone, which was rumored to be called the Galaxy S5 Prime, and then rumored to be called the Galaxy Alpha.
It seems that all those rumors were right on the mark, as Samsung has announced the Galaxy Alpha, which is a metal-smartphone that is going to kickstart the Design Revolution within Samsung. Basically, instead of Plastic Design and fake-Chrome sides, from now on, Samsung’s Smartphones will feature flat metal sides with chamfered edges.

The Cortex A7 is for less intensive tasks, and the A15 steps in for high intensity tasks. There are only four cores active at any give time.
The Processor is supplemented by a healthy 2GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage. There is no MicroSD Card slot. It has a 12MP Back Camera and a 2.1 MP Front. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Details like Release Date and Price aren’t known yet. A Metal focused Design was a long-time Coming, as lately Samsung has been seeing a drop in sales and profits, while Chinese Upstarts like Xiaomi are furiously climbing up the ladder and even taking over Samsung’s throne in China.
It is good that Samsung is finally looking towards more Premium Materials, as lately we have been seeing awe-inspiring Designs from Flagships. However, it is a bid odd that a Smartphone placed below Samsung’s Flagship in terms of specifications (And probably Price) is much better looking with its Premium Design.
