scholarships for brahmin boys

I suggest you contact your local Brahmins' association. They should be able to help you better. All the best with your son's education.
 
is there any scholarships for school children. if so how to avail ? my son is going his 1 st standard . i want him to learn vedic also in that case. what i have to do?. kindly guide us

Shri raviram,

There is at present no government scholarship for brahmins, especially at the stage of 1st. standard. Also, usually the Vedapaathasaalas will admit children who are slightly older and can live in the Paathasaala itself - and that may be about 6th. standard or so. Secondly the boy should have poonal ceremony performed as otherwise veda cannot be taught to him. I think there are some good vedapathasaalas in Madurai, Tiruchi areas; you may please enquire in those places.

There is one vedapaathasaala in Thanjavur at the following address:

Vedapatasala, 2/346 Agraharam, KALANCHERI POST, SALIYAMANGALAM- VIA THANJAVUR DT.

You can enquire there also.

i know this patasala...run by mr seetharaman....my father in law 's village is kalanchery..he is very close relative to my FIL...

i think thirivanaikkaval veda patashala with school education near trichy....
