Starting with their dress , the places they frequented, the drinks they had , the company they kept - it is character assassination at its worst.

In this case at least the judiciary acted honourably.

India is a scary place for women.

Now middle class tamil brahmin girls are opting for the security of foreign countries {US,UK, Singapore, or down under} to escape to a more just environment based

A honourable one consider a woman as one's own mother.
All males have great expectation about their mother starting with their dress , the places they frequented, the drinks they had , the company they kept. It is not character assassination.
All individuals succumb to the weakness of the simple logical thinking that their mothers are all above ordinary women. It is not a conservative thinking.
It is the normal thinking of all individuals that their mothers are great.

My daughter had been to US many times. My son and daughter in law are also residing in a foreign country.
I also had been to many countries.
In these days many girls go alone to foreign countries ...all alone to join in jobs.
All boys of today are capable of taking care of themselves as well as there newly married spouses.
The old and invalid persons accompanying the newly married would be additional burden to the honeymoon couples.
The old people think that they only know the safety.....where as in reality they make a mess of any thing in a given situation.

Oldies often forget where they are.Accompanying the newly married during honeymoon claiming that oldies are smarter watch dogs ......is totally pathetic.
Younger generation are more smart in intellectual thinking, analysing and understanding the situation and environment.
Younger generation is more competent in all ways.
The statement of oldies claiming that they alone are competent not only exposes their incompetence to think and analyse anything in life in the right perspective but also make a laughing stock in front of others.

The claim is not that old people are competent.

The reasoning is that irrespective of age group , anyone can be incompetent.

There are as many or more incompetent youngsters in terms of numbers than senior citizens and some of them require hand holding to transact in life..

Earlier in our joint families, these incompetent lot got protected and both young and old useless people could manage for a lifetime hanging on others.

In nuclear families , these youngsters are risky entities to trust daughters with.

I have seen mostly good competent girls marry and feel comfortable with incompetent boys because these girls can become bosses in their homes and manage these

fellows.

Many brilliant guys also marry duds and feel happy that these duds hero worship them.

When both are smart and competent , sparks fly and marriages go on the rocks.

There are plus points to being incompetent also.
